Renée Mellas
Administrative Assistant. Account Executive. Leader. Entrepreneur. President. Group President. Renée has worn many hats over the course of her 30+ year career, but the thread that runs through it all is her competitive spirit and will to be the best. Renée has 3 core tenets to her management approach: we sell creativity; we do not have account services, we have account management; and we handle the client’s money as if it were our own. Renée is not only President of McCann Health NY, she’s a Group President responsible for AREA 23, AREA 23 on Hudson, FCB Toronto, and McCann Health Canada (with offices in Toronto and Montreal).
Tim Hawkey
In healthcare advertising, Tim Hawkey is known as many things—creative innovator, raconteur, relentless optimist, and just plain relentless (to name a few). And while no one person can be all things to all people, everyone who knows Tim can agree on one thing—there’s no one quite like him. As Chief Creative Officer of McCann Health NY, AREA 23, AREA 23 on Hudson, FCB Toronto, and McCann Health Canada, Tim isn’t shy about letting it be known that when it comes to healthcare advertising, so much more is possible. "Do what scares you," Tim espouses to his creative teams. He believes that a great creative idea should challenge the customer and clients alike, even if that means implementing a little shock and awe from time to time. "If they don't stop and notice you, then everything you're doing is just a waste of time."
Latifa Alladina
Latifa is a PharmD and an industry veteran with nearly 25 years of experience in healthcare advertising. She has been a part of the IPG Health family for 18 of those years, first starting her career at what is now FCB Cure, and then returning ‘home’ years later where she’s been for the past 8 years. Latifa is part of the Account Leadership team and brings with her a unique skillset – having spanned several roles through her career not only in Account Management but also in Medical Strategy and Brand Strategy. This has equipped her with the ability to view and approach her clients’ business challenges through a broad lens. Latifa’s time in the industry has allowed her to gain significant experience across a broad range of therapeutic categories – both specialty and mass market – and across all stages of product lifecycles. She’s worked on challenger brands, blockbuster brands, first-in-category, and first-to-market brands in both US and ex-US markets, and across both HCP and DTC customers.
Tyler Dickson
From math nerd to punk rocker to short order cook to brand strategist, Tyler brings a diverse set of experiences to work with him every day. He constantly seeks to distill a range of inputs to make simple yet surprising connections between people and brands. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Tyler has spanned a range of categories from pure consumer with Mike’s Hard Lemonade, TUMS, and Amtrack to blockbuster and rare pharmaceutical brands such as Cymbalta and Tepezza. Tyler is responsible for co-leading the brand strategy team at McCann Health NY along with his partner, Jeremy Vallimont.
Kathleen Gillooly
Unique to Kathleen’s business management background is her track record of bringing digital and analytics innovation to clients as Client Business Lead. She has led many launches across categories, customer groups, markets, and competitive scenarios. Kathleen has been in pursuit of omnichannel excellence throughout, beginning with the emergence of attribution modeling to ROI-based engagement frameworks and the launch and organizational rollout of marketing automation platforms, and more recently, innovations in modern, data-rich segmentation approaches.
Josh Grossberg
Josh has a rich history of creating smart, impactful advertising as well as things that maybe aren’t advertising, depending on who you ask. With experience across nearly every industry category, from technology and potato chips to statins, immunotherapy, and rocket ships, Josh has garnered recognition from numerous award shows along the way. However, he remains firm in the belief that it is his job to solve business problems—and that impactful, un-ignorable creativity is the only way to do so.
Doug Hall
Doug is a pharmaceutical marketing veteran with over 25 years of brand leadership experience including 15 years with the IPG health team. With disease knowledge spanning from infectious disease to immunology and cardiovascular to cataracts he has been successful in a broad range of highly competitive and challenging markets. Driven by data, he enjoys analyzing information to uncover competitive differentiation at all stages of the brand lifecycle from pre-launch market shaping, to launch and beyond through to patent expiration and holds his team accountable for this same level of commitment to the data. This “do whatever it takes” mentality applies to his professional passion in leading and mentoring teams as well as his personal love for high performance driver education and coaching.
Linda Horn
Linda is an industry veteran who has worked in healthcare advertising and specifically within the IPGH family for 25+ years. Over those years, she has had an array of different experiences which ultimately led her to Human Resources. She began working within this function at FCB Health and then was fortunate to join AREA 23 at its inception in 2007. Linda values partnerships and understands that collaborating with others is one of the keys to success. When she is not working, Linda can be found exploring the outdoors with her husband Kenny and their dog Maya.
